1. Being ForsakenAt times, we feel completely alone. We feel like God has just completely abandon us in the midst of our troubles. But that’s where we are wrong. In Hebrews 13:5, God states, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” He plainly tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us. If we stand on His Word and His Promises and Trust what He says, we won’t have to worry about being abandon or lost. 2. Feeling Useless This world pushes us down, and tells us we can’t do anything. It stereotypes us as worthless and useless, but if we believe, and trust God, we can do whatever we set our minds to. This world may tell us we’re useless, and can’t do anything, but God tells us we can do all things through Him Who gives us strength. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” 3. The Future I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve found myself thinking about the future, or coming up with every possible scenario that could happen–which can leave me a total wreck. But God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a Plan for our lives. If we Trust Him and the Plan He has for our lives, we can rest in peace in knowing He has it all under Control. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” 4. Bothering God With Prayer So many people feel like they bother God in Prayer (which is what satan wants us to think). But really, God loves to hear from us!! In fact, He wants us to talk to Him as much as we can. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, God tells us to pray without ceasing. 5. Being Unloved “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an Everlasting Love: therefore with Lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
